Urban 2 Point 0 is a product of the Center for Urban and Regional Studies at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Focusing on urban issues relevant to North Carolina and beyond, Urban 2 Point 0 presents easily digestible data analysis complemented by infographics, maps, and other visuals. Look for posts on affordable housing demand, how cities have recovered from the Great Recession, how high-tech industries have disbursed throughout the state, and how demographics can predict the 2016 primary election results.

Michael Webb, Editor
Urban 2 Point 0 is edited by CURS researcher Dr. Michael Webb. Born in Lima, Ohio, he received a Masters in City and Regional Planning and PhD in Geography from The Ohio State University. Before joining CURS, he previously worked as a restaurant manager, speech therapist for autistic children, and project manager for a community development non-profit. He enjoys traveling, coffee, and post-hardcore music.
Andy Berner, Manager
Urban 2 Point 0 is managed by CURS public communications specialist Andy Berner. Originally from Iowa, he holds a bachelor’s in Art and Communications from the University of Iowa, and a master’s in fine art from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. Before coming to CURS, he worked for the NC Area Health Education Centers Program and the Ackland Art Museum. He loves travel, art, music, and soccer.
